CO2 Fractional Laser
The newest version of CO2 laser resurfacing (fractionated CO2) uses very short pulsed light energy (known as ultrapulse) or continuous light beams that are delivered in a scanning pattern to remove thin layers of skin with minimal heat damage. Increased Comfort: The fractional array of microbeams does not cause damage as traditional ablative skin resurfacing. As a result, the procedure is much gentler. Increased Safety: Following a procedure, each tiny microbeam re-epithelialized (i.e. regrows the missing tissue and closes over) typically within 24 hours. This minimizes the risk of scarring, infection or long-term pigmentation changes.
Decreased Downtime: Most patients can return to normal activities within a matter of days.
CO2 Fractional Laser Therapy minimizes wrinkles, sun damage, discoloration, stretch marks and scarring all while increasing collagen production through its revolutionary fractionated CO2 technology.
Anyone who has mild to moderate signs of skin aging, fine lines and wrinkles.
In most cases the actual laser treatment time takes less than 30 minutes, but the time will depend on the area(s) of the body being treated.
Most clients will experiences a warm, sharp feeling and immediate tightening of the skin. Some areas will require a topical numbing cream and some will not. You can always request a topical numbing cream if you know your pain threshold is low or if you have sensitive skin.
Immediately following the treatment, the skin will be red, swollen and patients will experience a warm, stinging sensation.
Some patients may also experience pinpoint areas of bleeding. These effects are normal and indicate a successful treatment. Any swelling and redness will dissipate within several days. As the micro-tunnels heal, the skin will feel dry and begin to slough or peel. You may also experience a bronzed look once the redness subsides for approximately 3-14 days and the bronzed skin may peel off revealing fresh new skin. A post laser care form will be provided at the end of treatment.
Depending on the skin condition being treated, most patients will require 3-5 treatments spaced 6-8 weeks apart.
Your consultation is FREE and will determine how many treatments you will need, and the cost of those treatment, to see the results you want.
